CoreCivic bills us later for the charters, so Public Safety does not pay any funds directly to the transport company. The Scope of Services related to transport of inmates to and from the mainland are detailed in our contract with CoreCivic. You can find it in Attachment S1 Page 3: https://dps.hawaii.gov/wp-content/upl.... The mainland transportation companies used in the past 5 years for transport between Hawaii and Saguaro continues is attached. The package they provided included air and ground transportation on the mainland.
