Good morning Bianca, The files were not destroyed, as the Planning Department does not and cannot destroy government records. It is more likely they are misplaced. We are continuing to search for the files and will contact you immediately once they are located. The Planning Department would be the only department to maintain subdivision files unless the case was part of an ongoing legal process. In that situation, it is possible that our attorneys may have requested and are holding the files. I'm also checking with them to see if they have the documents. Unfortunately, because this case dates back to the 1990s, it has not yet been digitized. The department is currently digitizing all newer subdivision files to ensure we have backup copies.
