MISSION STATEMENT FOR THE HONOLULU CITY COUNCIL “The Honolulu city council is responsible for serving and advancing the general welfare, health, happiness, and safety of the land and our communities in Honolulu” We The People have the power to vote in and vote out. our choices are meant for our protection. We seek this information because indigenous peoples and local communities often have insecure land tenure, leaving us vulnerable to rights violations. With that being said it’s our duty to assess, evaluate and modify our decisions of our votes if grounds for a recall is found.
