Aloha,
Pursuant to the public records law, I would like to request the following records in electronic format sent to my email address.
Dear Freedom of Information Officer,
Pursuant to the public records law, I am requesting access to and copies of the following records maintained by the Honolulu (HI) Police Department:
Officer shift-level assignment data covering the period January 1, 2021, to the date this request is fulfilled, including the following fields for each shift record:
● Officer badge number or unique employee/officer identifier
● Shift start date/time
● Shift end date/time
● District assignment
● Beat assignment
● Vehicle assignment (unit number or identifier)
● Partner/co-assigned officer identifier
● Overtime hours worked, if recorded separately
I am requesting this data in a machine-readable electronic format (e.g., CSV, Excel, or a comparable structured export) rather than as scanned images or PDFs, to the extent such a format exists or can reasonably be generated from your records management system.
If any of the requested fields are maintained under a different name or in a separate system (e.g., a CAD or scheduling system rather than a personnel system), please let me know so I can clarify or narrow the request accordingly.
If this request is denied in whole or in part, please cite the specific statutory exemption(s) justifying each withholding, and provide any segregable portions of the records that are not exempt.
Please contact me with any questions, an estimated timeline, or associated fees before processing.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Enkhjin Erdenebayar
Mahalo,
Enkhjin Erdenebayar
