I believe I have received the relevant (redacted) information, but I do have a couple things I want to clarify before we mark this as resolved.
Summary of Request
*The university's application to join the Mountain West Conference as a full-time member. *The university's membership documents with the Mountain West related to its full-time membership, as announced in October: https://themw.com/news/2024/10/15/mou... This request includes, but is not limited to, an offer to join the league, an acceptance offer/letter, MOUs/letters of agreement, offers sheets and/or terms sheets. It also includes supplemental materials (such as addenda, exhibits and amendments). In layman's terms: the formal documents that allowed the university to join the Mountain West as a full-time member, from an offer being sent out to execution. *A copy of the Mountain West's grant of rights, which was recently announced as executed by the Mountain West: https://x.com/MountainWest/status/188... If you contend any responsive records are not public, please cite a specific statutory exemption. Email <<email address>> is my preferred way to receive the records. Please let me know in advance if the cost for producing the records exceeds $50. Finally, I hope that this request is straightforward and not cumbersome. Hi there, I appreciate the response and records. I did, however, want to clarify two things. First, the response did not include an offer or acceptance letter from the Mountain West, nor did it include an application sent from the university to the Mountain West. Does this mean there was no formal application? And that the only offer/acceptance notice was the formal membership agreement signed on Oct. 14? I'd rather ask an obvious question than incorrectly assume something. Secondly, since my request was filed, I've received a copy of an amendment to the Mountain West's grant of rights. It was signed by at least one party on Jan. 31. Is there a signed copy of that available here, too, from Hawaii?
