Follow Up testing of ground & water of Olowalu dump site and ocean, 6 months - current, after the debris removal of Lahaina fire
- Request to:
- Department of Health
- Law used:
- State of Hawaii UIPA
- Status of this request:
- Request awaits classification
- Summary of Request
- Please provide the ground and water testing done to the immediate area surrounding the Olowalu dump site, after the fire debris was moved there after the Lahaina fires. I’d like the analysis also provided along with the testing of ground and water samples taken from the ocean and ground that sit directly makai to the dump site. Seeing a public interest in knowing that the hazardous chemicals and debris are not seeping into the earth and water around the dump site. If these are not something that’s been done yet, I’d like to ask for a clear explanation as to why it hasn’t been done and why. Mahalo!
