Aloha << Name removed >> , Mahalo for the request. Attached is the copy of the amended rule that went to public hearing on June 3, 2025 which included the provisions required in Act 195. I have also attached the Public hearings notice that was published May 7, 2025. Comments received at the hearing and those that were emailed to the DOH have been received, compiled and addressed. The Report of Public Hearings, has been completed and the Food Safety Branch has addressed all comments received at the hearing and in writing up to and including the June 6, 2025 deadline. The Report of Public Hearing, comments by the DOH and transcripts of the hearings have been routed to the Governor's office for his review and approval if he so chooses. I do not have a timeline for this part of the rulemaking process. The rule will become effective on the date the Governor signs it into law. Please feel free to email or call me directly if you have any further questions.
