Aloha, On October 27, 2022, the Office of the County Clerk, County of Hawaii received your request for the following: "All email and text message communications originating from or received by the Hawaii County Clerk, Office of Elections, representatives of Hart Intercivic, and BallotTrax on the dates 10/21/22-10/22/2022 regarding the ballot tracking message that was sent in error on 10/21/2022 to Hawaii County voters." The Office of the County Clerk, in discussion with its Elections Division, will be compiling and submitting the requested information for legal review to ensure there is no portion of the record that is exempt from disclosure under HRS chapter 92F. Please understand that we will require additional time to respond to the request to avoid an unreasonable interference with our other statutory duties and functions. We will also be sending you a cost analysis of the work associated with this request. The associated fees will be sent to you once we are aware of the full extent of the work to be done.
