-Per the HRS 132-6: Inspections shall be made at least once every five years, or as often as deemed practicable or necessary by the county fire chief at all other buildings and premises to provide prevention and pre-fire planning within the jurisdiction of the county fire chief.
-Honolulu Fire Department code enforcement will also look into referrals/complaints of properties.
